LAUT & LEISE
Sometimes you see her standing at the train station. She just stands there, waiting for something to happen. Something that will stop her screaming at the top of her lungs at every passing train. Watching her, you assume she’s crazy. A drug addict. A mentally ill person. A poor, confused girl who’s seen too much. Who’s fed up with the world. Who screams when a train goes by. Maybe because she really is ill. Or because only the deafening noise of the passing train can drown out her screams. And despite all that, she doesn’t cry. Never, not a single tear. She stands there and waits. Waits for the day when no more trains come and her screaming finally stops.
